Booth Models
Choose the model that works for you
Standard
The ‘Standard’ model is our version of a single-wall sound isolation booth. This is a perfect solution for those looking for both sound isolation and acoustic tuning on a budget. The ‘Standard’ model will deliver sound reduction resulting in a quieter space, often sufficient in cases where extreme noise outside and/or inside the enclosure is not the main concern.
Used across all industries: Recording (podcasting, voiceovers, etc.) medical facilities, offices/coworking spaces, libraries, and more!

Professional
The ‘Professional’ model combines the sound isolation of the ‘Standard’ model with an elevated interior. Instead of the convoluted acoustic foam found in the ‘Standard model’, the Professional model boasts 1.5” flat foam wrapped in acoustic fabric, resulting in a more “professional” look.
This is a great option for those who want to record visuals in a more professional environment, need a flat surface to use a green screen, or prefer a more durable interior surface (common in schools).

Double Deluxe
The ‘ Double Deluxe’ model offers the highest level of sound reduction among modular sound isolation booths. Our proprietary wall panel composition delivers the sound reduction of a “double-wall” style without the hassle. This is our recommended model for anyone looking to block or contain loud/deep sounds and vibrations.
Works great in any idustry and application – drum room, recording, music practice, loud machinery isolation, sound testing, control rooms, sound testing chambers, portable privacy rooms, government and millitary uses, and much more!

ADA Ramp
Heavy-duty diamond plate metal ramp. Adheres to ADA 12:1 ratio. Not permanently affixed to booth so can be moved in/out of place as needed.

As always, size and location are your choice! Fixed or folding style. We can wrap in acoustic fabric or build in another style - butcher block, laminate, you name it!
Logo Treatment
Customize your booth to display your school or business logo. Send us the design and we will do the rest.
Exterior Fabric/Materials
Our booths come standard with the choice of black, charcoal or silver acoustic fabric. Upgrade the exterior to the fabric/pattern of your choosing. Class 1 fire-rated fabric also available. Ask about our cleanable fiberglass panel exterior.
Acoustic Foam
No customization or upgrading required to achieve a fully foamed interior in either grey convoluted acoustic foam (Standard) or fabric-wrapped flat foam (professional). Upgrade to melamine to adhere to class 1 fire rating. Different patterns and colors available!
Jack Panel
We can install Jack Panels. 1/8", 1/4", XLR, BNC, and more. Any configuration desired - we build them on site.
Mounting Block
Used to safely mount fixtures/equipment to booth walls without compromising foam. We wrap plywood with acoustic fabric that will sit flush with the foam. Exact location and size are up to you. Mount monitors, mic stands, etc. without worry.
Wide Door
Our standard door is a 28" w x 76" h fabric-wrapped solid core door. Upgrade width to 36" to accommodate larger equipment, adhere to ADA standards, etc. Need something wider? French doors? No problem, just ask!
Removable Panel
Fully removable steel-framed panel secured with our proprietary sealing system and twist compression latches. Size and location of your choosing.
Anti-Vibration Mat
Our booths are fabricated with acoustic paneling as the floor material. When vibration transference through the floors is a concern we recommend assembling the booth on mat. Great for road noise, basements/garages and other high foot traffic areas.
Muffler Box
Best way to maintain airflow and decrease sound. Fans are separated from the enclosure and connected to the vent system via 6" insulated acoustic ducting. Ask about our Muffler Box MAX for increased airflow.
Exterior Booth Height
Our standard booth exterior height is 7' 2" (6' 9" interior). For no additional cost we can cut the height down to your specification. Never compromise booth floor space for a low ceiling. Looking for something taller than 7' 2"? We can do that too.
Looking for something not listed? Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it can't be done.
Our Process
A tailored experience from start to finish
The typical sound booth is a catalog product – component pieces for the booths are either made in advance and stored in a warehouse, or acquired from a third party and, again, stored in a warehouse. At other companies, you will be sold a solution based on what can be assembled using parts in their warehouse. Our process is different because our product is different. Every single booth made at GK is custom fabricated, only after we have your order. We start with a clean slate and, together with our client, design what you need, not what we have in stock.

I have no idea where to even begin telling you how pleased and happy we are with these booths. To begin with, assembly was a dream; we had both booths uncrated and set up within about 2 hours. The following day the sprinkler company installed the required-by-code flexible sprinkler drops into each of the booths, and thankfully no increase in outside sound was noted. The following day we moved our custom built mixing stations up to the booths, installed 13" LCD screens (to view the karaoke lyrics) and studio condenser microphones and headphones, and gave everything a test run. WOW! The quality of the vocals inside the booths was (and is) Amazing! Our customers, who range from first time amateurs to aspiring stars, can't get over the great sounding CD's they get after a recording session. Thank you all so much for a great quality product!

FAQs
If you choose to work with GK, you will get a high quality, completely custom sound isolation booth at a fair price. We will take the time to understand your needs and design a custom solution. You will not be ushered to buy a mass-produced inventory product, instead we will design and build a booth from scratch, suited specifically for your needs.
- The first step is to identify what your sound concern is – why do you want a booth? If your answer is to block sound from entering/exiting the booth, your best bet will be the Double Deluxe model. The DD model is our “double wall” equivalent and has heavier/denser panels compared to the Standard Model; as a result, it is the most effective at blocking noise transference. If you are concerned at all with blocking/containing low-frequency sounds, we highly recommend the DD model. Applications that almost exclusively choose the DD model are: Musicians (Drummers), Industrial facilities (OSHA requirements), recording in loud environments, etc.
- If you have some sound isolation concerns but are mostly looking for a quiet space with interior acoustic tuning, the Standard can be a great and cost-effective solution. This is our version of a “Single wall” booth. Applications that elect to go with the Standard model include: voice actors, vocal training, podcasting, ASMR recording, etc.
- If you are still unsure and would like to discuss your specific situation, please give us a call – that is what we are here for!
Of course. Whether you are looking for your home, classroom, lab, factory floor, etc. we understand that floor space is valuable, and ceiling clearance can also be an issue. As a completely custom manufacturer, we can build a booth to fit your exact specifications. The best part? We will modify the dimensions to meet your needs at no additional cost to you.
